Course Description:

An overview of construction drawings and developing an estimate or take-off for larger and more complex projects including complex residences, multifamily, and light commercial wood framed projects. 

Who should attend:

The Advanced Blueprint Reading & Estimating training program is designed for experienced estimators looking to analyze and sharpen their skills and for those looking to develop conceptual estimating skills. This training is geared towards participants with 5 or more years of industry experience in working with construction drawings and take-offs. 

Instructor:

Randall (Randy) Hajeck has over 3 decades in the construction industry, both as an owner of his own company and also as an Adjunct instructor at Hudson Valley Community College in the Civil Engineering and Construction Technologies Departments. Randy has been providing the following classes; Introduction to Building Materials, Basic/Beginner Blueprint Reading & Material Estimating, Intermediate Blueprint Reading & Material Estimating, and Advanced Blueprint Reading & Material Estimating, to independent lumber & building material dealers since 2005.
