You Can't Put a Price on Safety,
But Do It Anyway
Investing in safety is the best financial decision a company can make.
“It shouldn’t take much convincing for the top brass to agree that having a safe workplace is a good thing, but unfortunately, that’s not the case. Even somebody as highly placed in the management tiers as Jana Gessner, vice president of EHS with the food, snack and beverage giant PepsiCo (a Fortune 50 company), knows the frustrations of selling safety to the C-suite.”
Despite the fact that many of our Dealer members are committed to safety, If you share the same struggle, click HERE to read the whole article including excerpts from a report on “the ROI (Return on Investment) of safety” compiled by AmTrust Financial Services, a provider of workers’ compensation insurance. Reminder: Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses Form 300A for Calendar Year 2019 are Due March 2
March 2, 2020, is the deadline for electronically reporting your OSHA Form 300A data for calendar year 2019. Collection began January 2, 2020.
The collection of CY 2019 data and beyond will include the collection of establishments' Employer Identification Numbers (EIN). If you submit your data using a csv file or API, you can view the new layout in the"HOW" tab on OSHA's website.
Remember, not all establishments need to submit their OSHA 300A Data. Only a small fraction of establishments are required to electronically submit their Form 300A data to OSHA. Establishments that meet any of the following criteria DO NOT have to send their information to us. Remember, these criteria apply at the establishment level, not to the firm as a whole.

The establishment's industry is on this list, regardless of the size of the establishment.
The establishment had a peak employment between 20 and 249 employees during the previous calendar year AND the establishment's industry is not on this list.
